6-minute Walk

  • Measures cardiovascular fitness

  • Scoring is based on distance completed within the 6-minute timeframe​
     

  • A calibrated route should be set up to measure distance covered by metres; and

​

  • Participant should only walk during the test.

​

Note:

 

  • Ensure that students hydrate themselves before and after this.​

​

  • Training should be done progressively.
